For this week, we are required to
identify the forms and functions used in everyday language but in form of role
play. After discussing in our group (Dayang Narzeriah, Juliza, Normarliza and
I) we have decided to write about the Chinese New Year celebrations which just
around the corner.
In daily conversation, we were always
ignoring grammatical aspects, as long as both of the speakers and the receivers
get the message on what they are talking about. It’s difficult actually when we
have to act and speak, and at the same time to concern on the grammatical
aspects. When I am reflecting back, when I was listening to the songs, it
will be no or less grammatical grammar at all. So, I think, song is one of the
best mediums to learn English.
We were the second group to perform, and in my
opinion we have done a great job. For me, such activity can improve our
confidence to talk in front of others. Also, we can enjoy the lesson rather
than sit down and just listen to the theory. I can see the potential of my
friends, and most of them can act very well.
Every
one of us has our own potential and uniqueness. God makes us different from
others so we can complete each other. But our failure is not the end of our
life. It is part of our life to make us becomes more mature and move forward.
Always believe in our creator, because HE always knows what the best is for us.
